My life: Jumping on the blogging bandwagon

I'm not sure how long I will last or if my life is even interesting enough for this haha! I figure I will give it a try and see what happens.

When Tyler was just a few months old my husband left us. I spent a few years focusing on my children and then got back into the dating world. I met a guy and surprise I was again blessed with a child. My pregnancy with Lucas started much like the others. At the first ultrasound it was discovered that there was possibly something wrong with his kidneys. It was difficult to see with him being so small and wiggling all around in there so I had to have another ultrasound at 32 weeks. Lucas was born on September 26, 1999 at 10:04 in the morning with Angel at my side as the greatest labor coach I've ever had. He weighed 9 lb 4 1/2 oz and had only one kidney. Again I said I was not having anymore kids to which my doctor (who delivered both older boys) reminded me that is what I said after Tyler. Haha! Since then he has overcome many issues. He saw a specialist at Children Hospital in Boston and even though he has only one kidney it will not affect him in any major ways as he grows. He also saw specialist because of his failure to thrive at two months old. By the time he was four months he was growing well again. In early 2004 he was dx with a lazy eye. After patching didn't seem to correct the problem he had surgery to correct the turn. Unfortunally I got tired of the constant battle with patching and the eye turn is back to where it was pre-op. Now he is a wonderful loving 12 year old making his way in the world of middle school.

On April fool's day 2003 I decided to play the old 'I'm pregnant.... APRIL FOOL'S' joke and boy did it backfire HAHAHA!! That joke turned into one of the most precious Christmas gifts I've ever received. Jonah was born the day after Christmas, December 26, 2003 at 8:02 in the evening weighing 9 lb 8 oz with none of the issues his older brother had. He too would have been delivered by the same doctor as his brothers if he had not waited until the doctor left town to visit family :op Jonah is 7 and loves being a big second grader!
